Shipping

The United States Post Office does their best to scan [track] every package with a barcode but there is a system of scanning priority wherein, only Express packages are scanned [tracked] at every city the package happens to go through. Priority packages may or may not receive the same scanning updates as Express depending on the work load at the Post Office. First Class Mail is ONLY guaranteed to be scanned "tracked" at the time of delivery at it's destination. While we do use the barcode for tracking our packages, in actuality it is a "Delivery Confirmation" bar code device, and therefore only guaranteed to notify us of the time and day the package is delivered.

We have a policy of shipping your order out the very same day if humanly possible. We send out our last packages out at 5pm ( Pacific Time).  Since our packages are dropped off directly at the shipping docks the packages are often not scanned for 12-24 hours.  Our standard method is USPS Priority mail (2-3 day delivery).

Tracking: USPS Priority does not offer actual tracking, instead they have something called “delivery confirmation”.  If you do not automatically get a delivery confirmation number sent to you within hours of your order you may write to us and request that we send you one. Do not be alarmed if the USPS “tracking” site does not give you much helpful information. Often times by the time the information is updated it is already in your mailbox!

Insurance: I do not buy insurance if the package is under 250$ but I will insure your package if you request it. I have only had three or four packages ever go missing out of many thousands and when that happened I replaced the package with no hassles. If by some strange circumstance your package is damaged I will see that you are more than compensated by either myself or the Postal System.

Special Arrangements:  If you make previous arrangements with me it is possible to send  your order out through Fed Ex or Next Day Express.  The Express deadline is noon ( pacific time) so I will need plenty of fore-warning to get this out.

Tracking:  Since we send products out two or three times per day you might find that your item has arrived before it has even had time to be entered into the postal system’s tracking.  Priority “tracking” is better called delivery confirmation because it is mostly only useful to see if it has arrived or not. If tracking is very important to you please request Express mail.
